I read on your page that Registered Education Savings Plans (RESPs) are exempt from seizure. If I declared bankruptcy more than a year ago and my bankruptcy trustee seized some of my RESPs that were held with the Universitas program, is it possible to recover the amount they took? Are there any legal options?
The RESP is subject to seizure. It is the RRSP that is not.
