I filed for bankruptcy last August. For 30 to 40 days, I didn't receive a single call. For the past two weeks, I've been getting non-stop calls from creditors (up to one Friday when I received nine calls from the same creditor), and I've given them the name of my trustee, my phone number, the superintendent's number… but they keep calling! I call my trustee every two days to explain the situation, but NOTHING CHANGES! In fact, it's the same two creditors who just won't stop. What can I do? I filed for bankruptcy hoping for some peace and quiet. Does this happen often?
This is unusual. Speak to your building manager again. This situation needs to end.
