I'm about to file a consumer proposal and I have two questions: I have one last credit card (out of seven) with a low limit ($2,000) that I want to keep because I'll need it for my job as a sales representative. Is that possible? I'm filing the proposal around December 15th and I'll receive a year-end commission of approximately $4,000 in my bank checking account around December 30th. Will I be able to withdraw this amount as I wish, without having to justify my withdrawals afterward?

It is unlikely that the card issuer will allow you to use the card after you file your proposal. This could lead to embarrassing situations, such as having a payment refused in public.
Your trustee will prepare your proposal taking into account all your assets, including this $4,000 payment, which is part of your income.
